Travelling in India
Komorebi runs slow, small-group journeys across four regions: Himachal Pradesh (Spiti Valley, Shimla's hidden hamlets, the Kullu Valley), Meghalaya's Khasi heartlands, Arunachal Pradesh (Ziro Valley), and the West Bengal Himalayan foothills. We add new offbeat routes as we scout them.
Group trips are fixed-date departures you join alongside other travellers, capped at 4 to 10 people. Personalised journeys are built privately around your own dates, pace, and budget. Both follow the same slow-travel style.
Yes. Small groups, gentle pacing, and full hosting make them ideal for solo travellers and those new to mountain or offbeat travel. Journeys like the Kullu Valley and Shimla's hidden hamlets are especially beginner-friendly.
For an easy introduction, the shorter Himachal journeys (Shimla's hidden hamlets or the offbeat Kullu Valley, both 3N/4D) are gentle and low-altitude. For more immersion, Meghalaya and the West Bengal tea heritage route are slow-paced without hard trekking. Spiti suits travellers ready for high altitude.
Fixed-date group journeys run as published. If you want something shaped around your own preferences, that is what our personalised journeys are for. Tell us the feeling you are after and we will design it with you.
